I’ve always been a fan of Cox over CenturyLink. The only time I tend to recommend CL is if they have fiber.
99 percent of the complaints I see with internet are not the provider, but rather using crappy in home equipment. Don’t use the ISP equipment. Ubiquiti is my choice. I see too many real life customers who make the switch to equipment I deploy who no longer have trouble afterward.
With this said. Fiber has made it into my area with CenturyLink and I’m taking the plunge. Wish me luck. I will report back with findings.
